Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori presented the Staff of Office to Obi Professor Epiphany Azinge (SAN), the 14th Asagba of Asaba on Thursday 28th of November, 2024.
The ceremony occurred at the Ogwa Ukwu Ahaba Hall in Asaba capital city of Delta State.
Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori presented the staff of office to the new crowned Asagba of Asaba.
During the ceremony, the Governor urged the Asagba of Asaba to prioritize inclusiveness and peace during his reign. The Governor emphasized the important role traditional rulers play in connecting communities and the government.
Governor Sheriff expressed confidence in the new Asagba’s leadership. He also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working with traditional rulers.
This partnership will aim to implement policies that benefit all residents of Delta State.
