“We don’t want marriage,”
Ojo said confidently during the chat.
Iyabo emphasized that their relationship thrives on mutual respect and a shared understanding of each other’s lifestyles. Both are busy professionals who, according to her, don’t feel the need to formalize their bond with a marriage certificate.
Ojo explained that one of the reasons for their successful relationship is their ability to give each other space literally.

“Because of the way I work, I am such a workaholic, and he is also a workaholic. That Igbo man likes to work,”
she said with a laugh.
She continued,
“For me, there are times when I want to be alone, and I just pack my bags and return to my house. We never fight over that because he understands.”
The actress made it clear that she values her independence, and Paulo respects her decision to have her own space when needed.
