What to Do If Your Phone Is on the List

If your phone is on the list of affected models, don’t panic! Here’s what you can do:

    1. Save Your WhatsApp Chats

Before you do anything, back up your messages. This means saving your chats so you don’t lose them when you switch phones.

    • On iPhone, use iCloud to back up.
    • On Android, use Google Drive.

You’ll find the backup option in WhatsApp > Settings > Chats > Chat Backup.

    2. Check for a Software Update

Your phone might still have a chance! Go to Settings, find System Update or Software Update, and check if a newer version is available. If there’s an update, install it; it could keep WhatsApp working on your phone.
