A Sad News From Ghana
A heartbreaking story from Accra, Ghana, has left many in shock. According to a report by Sapele Aproko, a young man from Warri, Delta State, known as Austin, has sadly passed away after battling depression.
Austin was known as a street hustler a “motivator” to many boys in his area who believed that making money from “clients” abroad was the fastest way to success.
But what started as a dream soon became a tragedy.
How Austin’s Dream Started
Three years ago, Austin “jakpa” (migrated) to Ghana with one goal to make quick money through online deals with foreign clients.
And it worked at least for a while.
Last year, luck smiled on him when a client sent him ₦12 million. That huge money changed everything.
Austin started living large new car, latest phone, designer clothes, parties every weekend, and plenty of women.
He became a “big boy” both online and offline.

Austin’s wealth came from fraud, and when the same client that once funded his lifestyle stopped sending money, everything fell apart.
The car, the luxury, and even the fake friends disappeared.
In desperation, he tried everything even visiting spiritual homes to “tie” his client but nothing worked.
His money vanished, his girlfriend left, and depression took over. Days later, he was found lifeless after drinking a bottle of sniper.

Our Final Thought
Life will always test you, but never let greed lead you down the wrong path. No blessing gained through deceit can last.
Austin’s story shows that when you walk in darkness, even your own shadow will one day disappear.
To every young person out there chasing “clients,” remember there’s more pride in small, honest success than in big dirty money.
Choose peace over pressure, purpose over pleasure, and faith over fraud.
