Cubana Chief Priest Fires Back at Burna Boy
Chief Priest quickly responded with harsh remarks, accusing Burna Boy of being envious of his success. He even suggested that Burna’s Grammy win was linked to an alleged amorous relationship with American rapper Diddy. In his instagram posts, he wrote:
“It’s so clear because how is it even possible that someone who brags to be so rich go dey live in so much pain? Wetin dey pain you? Shebi na you be African princess.”
The socialite also revisited Burna Boy’s earlier career, claiming he paid Burna ₦1 million in 2018 to perform as a backup singer at his birthday party. He added:
“2018 na ₦1m I pay you to perform as backup artist for my birthday. I get pictures and videos where you dey perform for me. I go lie for you?”
As the quarrel escalated, Cubana Chief Priest accused Burna Boy of living beyond his means, citing alleged debts on luxury cars and jewelry. He even threatened to reveal more details about Burna’s personal and financial affairs.
None of the celebrities are ready to back down, Burna Boy posted a video of a man claiming to be Cubana Chief Priest’s brother who is a phone repairer in Alaba market, Lagos who appeared to need financial assistance.






Burna pledged $30,000 to help the man if his followers could locate him. This move added another layer to the already intense drama.
