VDM Raises Alarm in Viral Video
In the emotional video shared on his Instagram page, VeryDarkMan spoke directly to Nigerians about his fears.
Nigerians, with respect to what’s going on now, they are beginning to threaten my life. Seyi Tinubu and King Mitchy are threatening my life,
he said.
He also shared a screenshot of a message allegedly sent by King Mitchy to his associate, urging him to speak with VDM urgently.
According to the message, she wrote:
Hold VDM ooo. Either we talk on the phone and settle this, because the matter don serious ooo. Seyi just called me now to explain everything.
VDM interpreted the message as a sign that King Mitchy was concerned following a phone conversation with Seyi Tinubu.
“I just want to put it out there that if anything happens to me, it’s King Mitchy and Seyi,”
he added.
He further claimed that Seyi Tinubu holds significant influence and connections within Nigeria’s security structure, including the Nigeria Police Force and the Department of State Services.
How the Dispute With King Mitchy Started
The controversy appears linked to an ongoing public dispute between VeryDarkMan and King Mitchy over a school renovation project in Delta State.
King Mitchy reportedly led efforts to renovate a public school, with claims that Seyi Tinubu supported the initiative.
However, VeryDarkMan accused her of failing to properly account for public donations made toward the project since 2025.
He also alleged that Seyi Tinubu was backing the charity to improve his public image amid criticism of the current administration.
These accusations intensified tensions between both influencers and drew widespread attention online.
No Official Response Yet as Reactions Grow
As of the time of reporting, neither Seyi Tinubu nor King Mitchy has issued any public statement addressing the allegations.
There has also been no independent verification of the alleged threats, phone conversations, or messages shared by VeryDarkMan.
The video has triggered mixed reactions across social media. Some Nigerians expressed concern for his safety, while others questioned the claims and referenced past instances where VDM had shown support for Seyi Tinubu.
The lack of official clarification has left the situation unresolved, fueling ongoing public debate.

His allegations, especially involving politically connected individuals, highlight growing tensions between activists, influencers, and powerful figures in Nigeria’s public space.

The allegations made by VeryDarkMan have added a new layer of controversy to Nigeria’s influencer and political landscape.
With no official response yet from those named, many Nigerians are watching closely to see how the situation develops.
